Hummingbird & repost

I was in a private garden early Sunday morning photographing during a rare foggy day in Denver, when this hummingbird showed up to also partake in the garden. Luckily I had a long lens on the camera at that moment.

D 800, 300 mm f4 at f 5.0, ISO 5000, 1/4000 sec , handheld.

Excellent detail in the hummingbird and flowers, Kathy and I like the wing position a lot. It looks like you have just a few small really white areas that are holding down the luminance of the rest of the image. You might try adjusting everything else up a bit to get a brighter feel to the image.

Hi Dennis

Thank you for that. Here is what I came up with.

I agree the second version is more appealing.
Nice pose from the hummer, lovely flowers and contrasting colours, and nicely-framed.
