Wilson's Warbler

Another visitor to my blind ponds a couple of days ago. There were at least two of these that came in at different times and all used the bathing facilities. These are the first of this species I've seen on our property.

7Dii, Sigma 150-600 C @ 468 mm, tripod with ball head and Sidekick, f/8, 1/320, iso 2500, aperture priority, pattern metering, -2/3 EV. Processed in LR & PS CC. Cropped to 9.4 MP. Taken at 8:25 am on July 20th under cloudy skies.

Your comments and critiques are always welcome and greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Oh Dennis, he is a really cute little bird. I love everything about this shot. Such detail in the subject as well as his natural perch, against a sweet background, and in nice soft light. Very nice.

Hi Dennis,

The large view is awesome and the berry cane shows how small of a bird are Wilson's warblers. Well done and no nits from me.....................Jim

Superb color, detail, pose and perch. Nice comp. I like it. I had one of these at my place last year but no yellow birds this year other than the Goldfinh.
