Rose

This is a rose from the Rose Walk at Lake Junaluska, North Carolina, early one morning a couple of weeks ago.

This was taken with a Tamron 90mm macro lens.  Any comments and feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I'm going to try a white NPN background rather than the black.  We'll see what happens. :)

That is a beautiful rose, Barbara.  I like the early dew on it.  I have been to Lake Junalaska, but only in the fall, so not during the time when roses were in bloom.  Beautiful area though, and I wouldn't mind going back.

Hi Barb,

The rose is nice and sharp and colors are nice and bright. The crop looks good and my only suggestion would be to increase contrast slightly.  Otherwise, good work getting this rose out to uscrying...........................Jim

Hi, Barbara. The top down look of the rose is fine. The sepals and leaves are a flat, dull green. That may be the place you want better contrast. You might also try the new dehaze function.
