There was still a little mist in the air and the rocks were nicely saturated after a morning rain in Franconia Notch, NH.

Michael, the misty air, lovely greens, and misty water create a fine aura of peacefulness.  The green in the water in the lower left shows well in the larger version and makes a fine extra addition.

I remember this day well as we came away with several keepers, Mike. Wonderful atmospherics with the fog and the rain has certainly created some lush greens for us. Your SS choice works perfectly and has created some nice details in the water. My only suggestion; and a very minor one; would be to clone out those couple of branches creeping in in the URC. Beautifully done.

Michael, I'm truly envious of areas where there is such lush foliage and bountiful water such as we see here. I've adapted well to dry arid desert work, however, I no doubt would be faced with a challenging learning curve to capture images like this one. The extreme contrasts, water speed, and foliage movements would have me a bit outclassed using slow speed film. Your exposure looks excellent for working out all those dynamics I've mentioned. Very nice indeed........laugh

Edit: oooops, I failed to mention the easy fix on the URHC branches already mentioned by Ed.
