D800m 105 f4 at f16, 1/250 second, ISO 250, handheld

Tried numerous exposures at various aperatures and decided in post that f16 was the one that worked best. Adjusted in LR with numerous local adjustments using radial filters and brushes.  Selective Orton in PS via a mask.

Please see large version

Comments and suggestions welcome, its how I learn.

Regards to all

Kathy

Beautiful image, Kathy. I like the processing which looks a bit soft and painterly. No suggestions from me.

Kathy: I love coneflowers and this is a wonderful display. The large version is a MUST VIEW. Superbly crafted image and thanks for explaining how you got to the finished product. Most excellent.>=))>

This just gets better as it gets bigger! I like this, although I appreciate the irony of massaging the natural to make it more natural. I actually have nothing against it, as I regularly do as much. Truthfully, this is a first class result of good post processing. Good work, Kathy!devil
