A young (probably 3 year old) Brown Bear, browsing the grass where the base of the mountain meets the tide flats at Valdez, Alaska. It was early May and too soon for salmon so salad is about the only thing on the menu.

Sony a6500, FE100400GSM @ 400mm, ISO-200, f/5.6, 1/800, hand held.

I absolutely love the low POV and the detail in the fur and grasses are tack sharp. Add to that what appears to be some really nice directional light makes this a wonderful image. Thanks for posting it!

This has really nice light and detail throughout. I like th low POV and the partial reflection too.

Great techs and nice active pose. I think, purely subjective, that I would crop some of the out of focus foreground.
