We have had a great crop of these white day lilies this year and I thought this new bloom was especially winsome. Please view LARGE. All comments welcome.>=))>

Hi Bill,

This one is very nice--I especially like the texture of the pollen on the anthers and the loose pollen on the fused petals.  Colors are nice and subtle.  Well done.........................Jim

This is the same flower as your later post, I believe. I think you got a better DOF with this with f/22 vs f/8. Anyway, I like both, but this one best.

The details in the stamen and their elegant curve are set off so well by the yellow glow of the flower behind.  The curve of the stigma fits in well and fills the frame subtly.

Bill: I like how the group of stamens are contrasted against the soft tones of the background. I also like the detail in the anthers. Richard

Very much like the sculptural quality of the pistols and anthers that this shows off.  The petals make for a nice frame.
