Our osprey pair returned early, both on March 25, and now have newly-hatched chicks deep in the nest. They enlarged this nest from last year, and it's so deep that you can barely see the one that's sitting in the nest.  (Here, she is standing on the edge)

I could have cropped much closer, but I wanted to show the huge nest. Thoughts?

And she says, "I don't like that stick. take it back!" Tells a good story, Sandy.

Wonderful behavior.  Good job on the processing.

Nice image, Sandy.  I like the inclusion of both birds and the nest.  It makes a good behavioral image.

Atypical image, but very nice behavioral capture. The image conveys the size of the nest wrt the ospreys, without making them too small in the frame. The male bringing the stick adds a lot to the image.

Excellent timing in capturing this image.  Nice detail in the landing Osprey.  The one in the nest appears to be eyeing the branch critically and the one flying in appears rather indifferent.
