Bluebird breakfast

I watched this bluebird flying back and forth bringing home breakfast for his family. The sun just started to light up the bird but did not light the trees in the background. I like the colors of the bird against the dark background.

Brian the light is very nice. Great catch with the bug in his beak. Very sweet image.

Sweet image, Brian, and good detail in the plumage.  I also like the lighting.  I'm not sure what the perch is, but it works nicely.  My only nit is that I think it would work better with more canvas on the left so the bird has some room to move into.  Nicely done.

I agree, the lighting worked well here.  His colors are brilliant against the dark background.  Nice image.
