Triton Fountain

This is the Triton Fountain at night just outside the Valletta city gates.
I just got back from a wonderful 4 week trip to Southern Italy and Malta. Valletta is the largest city in Malta and is historically one of the most important port cities in the Mediterranean. As a result Malta was concurred many times over the centuries. Malta is a fascinating place, especially if you enjoy Military history, Roman ruins, ancient history (we visited 3 temples from 3600 BC), etc.
