Hippos certainly like the rain as it fills up all the waterholes, taken from the road on the border between Chobe and Khwai Conservancy.

Hi Ken,

Nice low perspective for your hippo shot. As David stated, eye contact is good and the animal looks like it is in control of the situation. Well done...........................Jim

Great job of getting a low perspective and pleasing warm colors.

Great detail in this image! The BG sets the hippo off very nicely. I like the perspective. Thanks for sharing.

Great eye contact and low angle, works well as a tight portrait.
I may prefer to selectively darken the BG.

Great head-on view of this fellow.. I'm on the laptop, but overall seems just a bit bright.
Fine detail, eye contact, and habitat.
Congrats on a fine WP!

Excellent capture with sharp detail and a nice angle. It looks like it's focus on you is just as sharp as yours was on it!
