Sandwood Bay

One from Sandwood Bay in Northern Scotland a few weeks back, the conditions were looking good so I hiked back and forth a few times in the week, clocked up about 30 miles of hiking as it's a 12 mile round trip - but it's well worth it, one of the best beaches in the UK, there's also hardly ever more than one or two people there - so great for photography :)

Very, very nice, Tim.  Great depth and lovely colors, foreground grasses walk ya right into the scene, well done.

Beautiful seascape. There may be too much magenta in that sand if your intention is to look natural.

Very nice, Tim.  I like the color palette and the dunes leading to ocean.  I think the first foreground element could be reduced by about 1/2, creating  more of a pano crop, if that seems worth exploring.

This is lovely. I think the composition is excellent. Some beautiful coastal dunes... maybe just bit too much purple; but still a wonderful image.

Nice layers and lines in the dunes.  The sky looks colorful and am wondering if there is any more to add.

Excellent composition of this beautiful scene. The grass movement with the long exposure really worked out nice and I like the feel it gives the image... just like being there and feeling the wind. Maybe a bit magenta but very beautiful to view. Yes, long hikes but sure does look like it was worth it!
