The arrival yesterday of several Pine Siskins and Goldfinches must mean the spring migration has finally started in the Pacific Northwest.  This was taken in morning light with a glowing background of newly leafed out maple trees.

Iso-400, 200-500 at 500 mm, F7 .1, 1000th, D 500, tripod, Adobe camera raw 10.3, Topaz adjust, TK sharpening action at 50%

Sweet, David.  I love that perch and you got a nice pose from the Siskin.  We got back from a short trip yesterday and had a few Goldfinches around.  I've counted as many as 5 males near the feeder today.

Very nice. The colors and detail great. It s almost like the bird was sitting for portrait. Very nice setting.
