Jan: Well seen and nicely captured. My only tiny less than 1¢ nit is the very small stray light on the top edge just to the left of the leaf. I think I would make it go away. I'd also consider using a lighter colored site frame so that the edge of the image doesn't merge with the frame. Overall 2 thumbs up.>=))>

Jan, a very unique and strong framing of the subject, I enjoyed the rim lighting on the leaves as well. A couple of tips: if you do not choose a border style, it defaults to black. The borders here are one size and the dark borders are asymmetrical on vertical shots—not the best wrapping for light and high key shots. They are better for dark shots as yours are, but they do tend to fatten the shot. If you still want the border, separate it by a pin strip on the image edge.
I agree with Bill on the stray light at the top left edge.

Hi Jan, Bill and Phil have pretty much covered everything regarding the technical stuff, . I really like how this image draws me in. I want to push the leaves aside and see more.

I think that you have got your aim. I love the original angle, the unusual composition and the strong light contrast. I always admire the softness of the images taken with the D200.
