Lake St Clair Sunrise

Taken just after 5 am at Echo Point on the banks of Lake St Clair in Tasmania.
I guess the dark wedge on the left isn't very appealing but I'm unable to extract any more detail from there.
Interested to hear any thoughts about the image.
Nikon D500,
50 second exposure @f/16,
Sigma 10-20 lens @ 10mm

This is quite the sky, Neale.  The colors and the sense of flow are great.  That leaning tree complements the sense of movement well.  There a bright area along the water's edge in the lower left that looks like it needs some extra burning-in to fit with it's surrounding.

The dark wedge does not bother me, but something, maybe the long exposure, or maybe the processing, feels a bit unnatural to me, although that is a personal preference. Sort of feels like an extreme HDR image.
The comp is good, and those sky colors are sweet.

Neale, I like this composition too and the cloud movement with the long exposure worked out quite nice. I think the processing might have been pushed a little too far with the colors and maybe the shadow recovery. Seems to be some ghosting around the rocks and water edge. Might have been one of those shots that need more than one exposure or maybe a graduated neutral  density filter. It is a cool looking image with great clouds and really nice reflections. My thoughts anyway...cool Nick

Thanks Mark, Genny and Nick for those opinions and suggestions, really appreciated. crying
I think its back to the drawing board with this one, and with your ideas onboard, I'm keen to get a better result.
