Bald Baby Baldy

A very old image (like 20 yrs ago) from my days as a Certified Wildlife Rehabber. Taken with whatever little P&S I had back then. A friend is holding him/her.
I'm still Certified, but have not had time to do any work for them for several years.
As I recall, this little fellow was brought in in a shoebox, by a lady who found him in her back yard. Several of us went over there to try to locate a nest and stick him back in it, but there were no nests anywhere around that we could find. We guessed that he/she was nabbed by a hawk or gull, and dropped a good distance from the nest, thankfully onto very soft thick grass.

I'm glad to say he/she was not badly hurt, did great,  and was happily released back into the wild.
