My neighbor Chuck recently passed away. He was a bit of a curmudgeon but he did have some nice flowers and never objected to me shooting them. Their house is up for sale so who knows if the new owners will want to retain any of his plants. I thought this iris and its bud were worthy subjects and perhaps a small tribute to a lost neighbor. All comments welcome. >=))>

A thoughtful tribute to your neighbor, Bill! Excellent details and a comp that keeps me looking. Very, very nice.

I'll echo Nathans' comments. You are a master of composing parts to represent a whole. I hope your 200 mm never wears out! devil

Exquisite detail, color, lighting, and DOF. Beautifully rendered and a very fitting tribute to your neighbor.
