Great Blue Portrait
by Bill Leggett
From earlier this week. There are a number of GBH around Gulfport Harbor, with a few hanging out among the local anglers looking for handouts. We're often told not to feed the wildlife, but in certain circumstances such behavior seems more like symbiotic relationship. The anglers catch some undesirables, and they likely leave them for these, who are often very close by. I also notice how the birds look as though they a quite healthy. With such a tolerant subject this is kind of a "studio in the wild" portrait.
