Another one from the Monterey Peninsula.  This one was from 17 mile drive.  If I recall correctly it was the
"Lone Cypress" turnout and this guy was singing like crazy in one of the cypresses in the parking area.  I liked the filtered light and how it caught his forehead.

7Dii, Sigma 150-600 C @ 468 mm, f/8, 1/800, iso 1000, aperture priority, pattern metering, -1/3 EV.  Processed in LR & PS CC.  Cropped to 11.7 MP.  Taken at 9:24 am on March 8th.

This image definitely looks better viewed large!

Thanks for taking a look,

Wonderful singing pose Dennis.  That bit of a "spotlight" effect is cool. I wish the oof twigs weren't in front of it's tail but that's a minor nit  The background is very sweet. Great work!

What a happy little crooner. Nice light play in this Dennis. Good control of the highly contrasting shadows and sunlight.

Neat pose!  Agree looks much better large!  Also, I noticed it looks darker than the ones I see around here, must be the California sun!  Thanks for sharing.

Good timing to catch this singing event.  Yes, it is that time of year even here in the Pacific Northwest.   I like the pose and the background.  I can live with the twigs in front.
