Here's a banking Bald Eagle from Hood Canal, WA last summer, the background is a distant hillside.
Canon 1DX II, 500F4 1/2500 F8, iso 800, manual exposure, handheld.

Outstanding as I might expect, Nate. The vertical framing and steep bank really work well for this. Might just be me, but I'm wondering if the whites in the tail could be burned in just a hair. It's nice to see the hillside as BG instead of bluebird skies.

Beautiful in flight capture, Nate.  Love the full wingspan, and the vertical frame works for this shot.  It looks like the whites are a bit hot on my monitor as well.  Maybe it is Bill's and my monitor.  We will see what others say.

Thanks Bill and Shirley.  The whites aren't blown out but they are bright enough that you can't see much detail in them.

Wow! Outstanding dorsal view with the tail fanned and good eye contact.  Well done.

The detail in the wings is wonderful, Nate.  I like the hint of mountain background as well.  I agree that the whites look a bit high.

I like this as posted Nate, A really nice look at the wing spread on this bird and well seen against the mountain backdrop.

Love that top-side view Nate. Perfect comp and Eagle placement. The whites look a little hot to me also...just sayin.
