Snowy Egret On The Rocks

I spent some time with this Snowy Egret in a rocky corner at a marina in Port St. Joe, Florida. I toned down a few really bright hot spots in the rocks.  I liked the light I had and shortly after I took this photo some people walked up behind him and he flew off only to return a few minutes later to the same spot.  FF top to bottom cropped from a horizontal.

Thanks for looking, comments & suggestions are always appreciated!

Lovely light, Steve, with a very nice pose and a great look at the feet.  I like it.

Wonderful capture. The feet and lore stand out very well. It almost looks three dimensional. Well done.

Fine comp and nice control of the whites. As good a show of those signature feet as I've ever seen. Good stuff, Steve.

You really took advantage of the perfect opportunity to show off the feet.  The rocks are just far enough away to isolate the bird at your chosen aperture, and the background shadows work perfectly to highlight the wonderful light on the feathers.  Excellent composition, too.

Really nice detail and light here Steve.  Great 3D portrait of a snowy egret.  It looks fine as presented, but I would think about making it a bit wider since it was cropped from a landscape orientation to give more space in front and back.
