Sony A77II - Illustration Mode
Minolta 200mm macro
ISO 400, 1/80 @ f22
Our first amaryllis to bloom this spring was this Papillon. I liked the effect of the Illustration mode with this BG and also added an oil paint filter. All comments welcome.>=))>

It takes a certain subject to make a successful image with illustration mode. Flowers, in my opinion, are such subjects. This one works very well, especially with the addition of the oil paint filter.

Awesome effect!  I might have added a touch more canvas on the LS, if you have it.

This is gorgeous Bill I love the effects. Great colors and nice strong accents everywhere. Very complimentary accents in the BG.  I love the mirrored amaryllis flowers that indeed look somewhat like a butterfly.

Beautiful - SO glad you're experimenting with PA. The illustration mode is especially suited to flowers, and you have a huge number of excellent images of flowers to play with.
Really sweet!
