Crocus Cram

Hi all.

Sorry for coming and going - life is a bit crazy (as it is for everyone).  I hope that I can be a bit active here and there.

This was made in a little, reliable patch of crocus blooms that sits right outside our front door.  I had one day this week where the blooms were all open and in great shape.

Any and all thoughts appreciated.

Nathan

Wow, dreamy, ethereal, so lovely with just the right amount of focus on the yellow area (sorry, I always forget the technical terms).
Great to see more of your photos here as I always enjoy them and inspired to try some version of it out.

Nice one Nathan.  Really like your POF/DOF choice, and the color wash is very pleasing.

Beautiful colors Nathan. I find myself wanting just a bit more DOF in this one.

Simply beautiful Nathan!  I always love your artistic vision and this one is no exception.

FYI - I totally get what you mean.  I've been far more inactive than active the last 3 years.  I'm trying to stay active again, but life IS crazy sometimes.

Nathan: This is FINE! Even the supporting elements on the bottom are a nice complement. My only 1¢ suggestion would be for a POV very slightly to the left so that the stamen wouldn't touch the OOF petal coming in from the right. Still pretty spectacular as is.>=))>

Your home crocuses have cooperated for letting you shoot a great photo. No nit, everything is splendid in this image: the composition, the selection of the focus and the colors of course. I love the work, Nathan.
