Bird Tree at Sunset

I was at Mt.Diablo State Park taking photos the other afternoon and just as I pointed my camera towards this tree silhouetted against some nice clouds, a flock of birds took off from its branches. Just lucky!

Canon 5dM3, ISO640, f/16, 200mm, 1/125 sec. Hand held, so a wee bit of shake in my excitement.

This is so cool, I'd be sorely tempted to clone out the fence. The birds look like leaves blowing away.

I really like the image. A great moment captured against a beautiful sky.

Very nice capture of a great sky and tree from rolling oak country. The birds are a nice bonus. I am really enjoying this one.

Kathy, The great sky, wonderful silhouetted tree and fence line would have all made this such a nice image, then all the birds took off and that made it even more special. Very nice work capturing this!

Well done. The birds preparing to land adds action to this image.  Otherwise some comments would be "Image is stactic".  Which I have a difficult time understanding.

Great timing with the birds, Kathy. This looks so peaceful with tree silhouetted against the evening sky. Did you happen to get any images with the birds a little more to the left?

Here is another version with more of the birds to the left of the tree. I like it better, but I think the focus is less good in this one.
