Edge Of Light

This one goes back to 2008 and a trip to Sonora Pass with Preston and I believe Lon and Dan Baumbach (who used to haunt these pages). Maybe Preston and Lon will remember the guilty parties.

4x5 camera, probably a 150mm lens or maybe a 240mm, Velvia film.  The old days of the big camera and film.

Harley, the details in the larger view show off the main reason for using large format, they are great.  That touch of brightness on the right adds so much to this mysterious view.  The scattering of drops are a neat addition.

WOW, this one almost snuck by me. And it's a "real" hardcopy photo too......sad
I might be tempted to bring up a tiny bit more saturation, but not a nit, just playing around visually here......laugh

btw: hard to grasp the lack of comments here anymore. But, I guess it only takes one with a key point to be made for it to work in the end.......wink

Harley, this is a great intimate view. I love the twisting shape of the main leaf, and the way it's framed by the darker portions. Great work from the archives. Thanks for sharing!
