Water Play

A few days ago, I posted a photo of a single elephant at the water's edge. Here, that elephant and a second one, entered the water for some play time. It was really enjoyable to watch them as they just seemed to have fun. They also managed to keep the resident hippo on the move as was evidenced by its wake in the shallow water. Taken with a Nikon D 750 and 24-120 lens at 1/320, f/8, ISO 4500 and cropped to a pano. Richard

I like the action and great look at the fully wet guy, with glowing eye.  My only curiosity is why were you led to choose pano?  It "feels" to me like such big, active subjects need a little more space, maybe all around.

I actually like the pano.  I feel like it brings the elephants closer to me...as I really don't care about the BG.
Awesome action shot!

Nice action shot Richard. They look like they are having a great time like a couple kids in the pool. Must have been great to just be there to watch.

Fine capture of the action between the 2 elephants.  Pano works for me.  Thanks for sharing.
