Northern Flicker (f)

Another one from last week.  The angle was just a bit steeper than I liked for this one, but I think it came out reasonably well.  I increased the exposure and brought down the saturation on the blues quite a bit to get the sky looking something like winter blue.

7Dii, Sigma 150-600 C @ 388 mm, Jobu Gimbal mounted to blind window, f/11, 1/1600, iso 800, aperture priority, pattern metering, -2/3 EV.  Processed in LR & PS CC.  Cropped to 17 MP.  Taken February 22nd at 9:13 am.

Your comments and critiques are welcome and appreciated.

Thanks for taking a look,

Mighty good N. Flicker image. They just keep getting better. I like this one a lot.

Excellent capture of this beautiful bird, Dennis.  I like the snow on the limb with him, and the blue sky for the background.

Really nice image of this little lady. Good pose, fine detail, great pine and snow.
Sweet!
