The other day I posted a photo of a Long-billed Thrasher. I also photographed its cousin the Curve-billed Thrasher. Here a male isn't too happy with a female getting into his space! I took this image from a ground-level blind two weeks ago on Laguna Seca Ranch in south Texas in early morning light.  Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, Canon EF500mm f/4L IS II USM + 1.4X III at 700mm, manual exposure f/7.1 at 1/1250th, ISO 2500

Nice interaction captured.  Consider a crop to remove some of the OOF foreground?

Great interaction and the eyes, really pop, Chuck.  This is one case where getting really low worked against you a bit, I think, as the oof foreground is not very appealing to my eye.

I fully agree Dennis.  I actually cropped out as much of the foreground as I could, but it still detracts from the appeal of the image.
