It's snowing and I have a desire of spring, of beautiful flowers like these of Aquilegia.

Early in the morning, against the sky. Taken in a public garden.

D800E, Nikkor 200mm macro - f/22 and ISO 200.

Thanks for your much appreciated opinions and advices.

Gigi, I can always spot your photos a mile away!  You must tell me how you always get them so perfect!  Sorry, but one nit.  The border on Upper R has a long color smudge, which you probably want to remove.

Lucy the main features of this type of photo are: back light, exposure Spot on the lower shade in the subject for having it all very well lighted choosing the best shot in a three photos BKT; so the BG goes over exposed totally or in part.
Thanks for your gratifying comment.

A very typical Gigi image - wonderful graphic quality worthy of a book illustration. You have perfectly captured the airy feel of these lovely flowers.

Gigi: A magical trio and superb capture. I like this very much as is and also can see this with the BG blown out to white. Superbly crafted image.>=))>
