This is another from North Beach at Fort De Soto park in 2012. I get a kick out of their highly animated hunting tactics, constantly cavorting around in the shallow tide pools. There are only a few residents there, although they've been a reliable subject every time I have visited. This is one of few I've caught in this strike posture. Unfortunately I framed it way too high so cropped 1/3 off the top but kept it full width, could have used more room at the bottom.

E-5 ZD 300 F2.8 Wimberley I, ISO 400 1/2500 f4 -2/3EV

This is a sweet shot Bill!  Love that ruffled mane, the raised wings and the water drops.  Great shot..

A really great moment, Bill.  The "hairdo" and splash really make this one for me.

I'm a sucker for these kinds of shots.  Lovely colors as well.
