Rebirth

The resurrection fern on my pecan trees never fails to amaze me.  I added a bit of artsy painterly effect to enhance the soft beauty of the ferns.   Although, my photo was quite sharp, the ferns look soft from a distance.  This was the quality of this fern, which I wanted to express.

Lucy, the ferns are glowing very nicely here.  The painterly effect seems strongest on the amazingly rough, scaly tree bark and in the lower half background.

Yes, Mark...I wanted to highlight the pretty ferns and not the rough Pecan tree bark.
