This was taken about a month ago, first sun striking the perch.  This particular sparrow has spent the whole winter here in the Pacific Northwest.  Unfortunately, it doesn't go to the perch very often but straight to the feeders.

Iso-800, 600 mm, F7 .1, 320th, tripod, fill flash at -.7, EV -1, 90% of full frame, D850,  ACR 10, Topaz adjust, TK sharpening action at 35%

Sweet image, David.  Great perch.  The ones I have go straight to the feed on the ground, usually mixed up with a bunch of doves and/or Juncos.  I like the isolated view of this on and the lighting.

Simple and beautiful. Love that perch. Larger version is a must see.

Nicely composed image.  I like the interesting diagonal perch and the OOF background.  Good detail in the sparrow.  Perhaps a touch more fill flash?
