A dramatic sky over the K'au desert in Volcanoes National Park on the Big Island of Hawaii.  Our trip to Volcanoes National Park coincided with the recent government shutdown.  This and another short hike were the only trails open during those three days.

Iso-500, 20-120 at 68 mm, F8, 320th, handheld, 90% of full frame, D 850, Nik Silver Effects pro, TK luminosity masks and sharpening action at 40%

David, this is definitely a rugged landscape that looks good in b&w.  The sky is amazing with a very dramatic mix of clouds and crepuscular rays.
