For this romantic flower I have paraphrased the title of the famous Dumas's novel.
Back lit by the first sunbeam at dawn.
D800E, Nikkor 200mm macro - f/16 and ISO 400
Thanks for your opinions and advices.

Very nice. I like the central glow and the high key aspect and the overall composition. Well done.

Gigi, I am not sure how you did this, but it is a good, artistic result that I like a lot.

Scott, thanks for your interest and curiosity. What I did is very simple and usual in my photos: the back light of the sun creates a glow and the transparences, a lot of light for lighten the shadows in the front, low saturated colors. The yellow glow in the center is typical of camellia flowers.
Thanks again Scott.

This is just lovely, Gigi! The soft petals have a wonderful glow to them from the first light...or was it the "second light" at dawn I just had to say that. Almost looks like it was made by a master baker with marzipan. But, it was made by a greater master....God...with just the perfect amount of help from you!
BTW, as we all know, whites are so hard to capture. You did a wonderful job detailing the outline of each white petal.
