Sachuest Snowy

I was lucky to catch this Snowy Owl at Sachuest Point NWR in Rhode Island back in December 2013. This was from a pretty far distance, probably with the 100-400mm zoomed all the way in. Unfortunately, I don't have the techs on this one.

I liked the late afternoon light and the inclusion of the habitat (not that I had a choice!) Thanks for any and all comments you may have.

Interesting & unusual location for a Snowy Owl.
Maybe crop the image a bit so the owl is a bit more prominent.

I like the light a lot, Craig, and your composition. A very fitting habitat for the owl.
