Just going through images from last year. A close up a bee on some Verbena taken at the local public garden. Cropped about 30%. Nikon D600, Sigma 150 f2.8 macro @ 5.6, 1/1250, iso 640, probably tripod supported. Suggestions and other comments welcome.

Those green eyes (and their details) are great, Scott. They also match rest of the greens in the image wonderfully. Your comp. and the limited dof work very well, best seen in the larger view.

Excellent macro shot, Scott. I agree with what Mark said. Maybe I need to dig through some of my old images during these cold winter months! Good idea!

Cool eyes, and really nice color palette Scott. I personally would like a bit more depth, but you nailed the eyes and upper thorax.
