An ice climber ascending part of the Horsetail falls in Keystone Canyon, near Valdez, Alaska. It was during the Valdez Annual Ice Climbing competition but this woman was just practicing at the time.

Amazingly detailed rugged outdoor adventure take here, Gary. Your composition and overall exposure are spot on. The image fits the WC theme perfectly too. Very fine work here IMO......

Great photo of this sport. Good comp and light, colorful rocks and even more colorful subject. Sure looks challenging to me!

That' some seriously vertical climbing, Gary. The climber and the ropes show nicely and speak to the safety and challenge of this climb.
