Hi,

A wonderful image of a male orange tip butterfly.  Composition and ighting are ideal. The butterfly is perfect and I only suggest  to slightly tone down some of the bright white patches in some of the flower petals.  Other than that a very fine image devil......................Jim

Beautiful orange tip butterfly. Fantastic DOF, lighting and detail where it needs to be. Love the nice smooth dark green BG.  The subtle orange color comes through the back of the wing really nicely.

Beautiful, sharp orange tip - lovely colours, nice flowers and very complimentary BG.
I might consider a small crop off the bottom, below the good light.
Excellent image!

A neat catch, D&L!  From the thumb, I was thinking that the bf was the flower, wink.  Now I see that it's pattern does a great job of mimicking the flower and stems, even as it adds some beautifully subtle colors.  The lighting is also great with it's nearly spotlight effect and the resulting glow in both the flowers and the bf.

Thank you all for the very kind comments.
We're really happy for this image because this BF can be seen only for limited periods during spring and usually in flight.
