A Silent Moment

A silent moment at the shore of Lake Altaussee. This image was taken last December in the Salzkammergut region, Austria. Standing there, I especially liked how the warmer shades of the wooden boathouses complemented the overall wintry atmosphere of this scene.

Lovely composition.  The detail of the foreground adds to the effect of the scene fading into the mist in the distance.
