This snowy egret "caged" itself behind a chain link fence next to the intake pipe under a bridge at the Bolsa Chica Wetlands Preserve. It seems it had a nice unmolested spot to watch for fish coming a going there. Canon 60D, f13, 1/6400 sec, iso 400, -1 EV, 100-400 ISLii, at 400 mm.

Wasn't sure I wanted to open this one thinking that the egret was imprisoned and unable to freely move about. Sounds like it just was finding a place to fish. I like the way you have focused on the egret with the chain link out of focus. Good photo showing how wildlife adapts to our encroachment on their territories.
