In the deep shade of the fjord's Southern mountains and looking downstream toward the snow covered and brightly lit Norther mountains.  Taken after a fresh snow fall.

Sony a6300, SEL1670Z @ 16mm, ISO-100, F/8.0, 1/500, hand held.

The shadows are really handled well here. There is great richness of texture in the shadows yet they are dark enough to feel like shadows. In fact this image is really about the content of shadows with the sunlit areas playing an auxiliary role. That's pretty unique. You could burn in the mountains a bit or even warm them up to see how it looks. But this looks just fine to me eye.

Beautiful snowscape, Gary. Difficult exposure, but well handled. The bg mountains add a lot to the scene.

Crisp, clear, and cold.  A lovely view of the clear skies at the end of a storm.  Your mix of elements, shrubbery, stream, mountains and sky is very well proportioned, Gary.
