WISHING ALL MEMBERS AND YOUR FAMILIES A COLORFUL 2018

The dew has reduced. Found this Crimson Marsh Glider still cold and not moving. Got close to make this image. Unconventional, but found the abdomen very colorful...

Colorful indeed, Balan.  Closer to "hot pink" than "crimson", but that would be a pretty awkward name.  I like the unconventional presentation; it's very striking.

Hi Balan,

That color is intense.  Your comp looks good and I wish the abdomen was sharp at the tip.  Other than that, I like the colors and presence of the hindwings at the top of the image......................Jim

That's one colorful tail, Balan.  The color in the tail is also supported well by the touches of color in the wing veins.  A fascinating look at the colors even as we know what the critter is.  A well designed view.

The color here is stunning Balan. I really like the perfect symmetry of the design with the fine detail of the basal wings and the amazing abdomen. Great shot!
