Not exotic

After a bevy of exotic images from exotic locations (except if you happen to live there) here is something more ordinary.  I caught this Red Breasted Nuthatch  in fairly decent lighting for November this morning.  I like the pose and head turn.

Iso-2000, 600 mm, F9, 640th, D 850, -1 EV, fill flash at zero, tripod, 75% full frame, DxO optics lab, ACR 10, Topaz adjust, TK sharpening action at 40%

Gorgeous perd, as usual, David, and a really nice pose from the Nuthatch.  I really like the lighting on the lichen in this one.

I am amazed that we have the same species on different continents! Really nice picture!!!
I am attaching my version I took last year in one of the parks in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Regards,
Ivan

David, I just love these mossy perches you have in the PNW, and this is no exception. The blurred out greens in the background tie in well with the moss color. The pose and DOF are excellent. It looks like there is a small dust spot top left near the moss under the branch.
