We had two excellent encounters with bobcats along the Madison River during our winter Yellowstone tour a couple seasons ago. I am eagerly looking forward to returning to the park in January and seeing what kind of magic Yellowstone will share with us this winter.

Canon 1DMKIV; 600mm & 1.4x; 1/320; F8; Gitzo tripod & BH55 Ballhead; manual settings, spot meter

All your comments and suggestions are very much appreciated.

Wonderful find, and fresh, un-trampled snow.  Love the flying snow as he creeps thru it.
Fine work, as usual!

Hope to see you (and the bobcat) in January, Ken.

I like how you caught it among the sage.  The brush peeking through the snow breaks up the monotony of the white, and adds some nice texture.

Great frame.  Bobcat in full stride with the spray of snow.  Nicely exposed and composed.  Well done.
