A Gadwall pair as they were leaving the tide flats early this afternoon. They were a little ways away so I had to crop about 50% to get this composition.
Sony a6500, FE100400GSM@400mm, ISO-500, f/5.6, 1/4000, Hand held.

Excellent flight shot, Gary. I like the poses and the matching ruffled chin feathers are neat. The detail looks excellent. The composition works very well though my eye seems to want a little more sky on top.

The large version is really great Gary. Nice colors, details, depth and clarity. Since you have the room, I think I would agree with Dennis to give a bit more room up top.
