A migrant along the Oregon coast, a sure sign that autumn is near.  I couldn't find that a Wandering Tattler has been previously posted on NPN.  This one is in non-breeding plumage.

Canon 7D Mark II
Sigma 150-600 at 600 mm
1/800 at f 7.1
ISO 640

Thanks for looking.  Comments and suggestions are appreciated.

I like this, Allen.  The barnacle encrusted rocks make an interesting bg that has a ton of detail, but is also somewhat uniform and not distracting.  Nice job on the Tattler.

Well composed with good detail.  This tackler fits in nicely with its environment.  A real advantage of living in Western Oregon (as well as living in Western Washington) is that the Pacific Coast is within a  60 to 90 minute drive from our homes.  This gives us access to shorebirds year-round, not the just those that make it into Puget Sound or the inland Oregon rivers.
