On Guard

This young bear was a frequent visitor to this stream. He was such a handsome little guy with an adorable face. He did get bullied a bit by the larger bears. In one instance, a mother bear chased him almost completely out of the stream. I think this harassment is why he looks so "on guard" in this image. While he was eating his salmon, he would occasionally glance around to see where the other bears were. It's tough being the little guy. Processed with Lightroom, Photoshop and Lightzone. Comments and critiques welcome.

Another great one Jerry. I love the water droplets on the coat in this one. It certainly seems to be concerned with something going on behind.  Large version shows off the detail. Congrats on your selection for Gallery of the Month too by the way!

Excellent capture, Jerry!  It's always difficult to get a good exposure on a black bear but this one is perfect!  Nice sharp image with a good composition and the salmon is a nice bonus.  Very nice shot devil
