rose petals fading

In hindsight I wish I would have used the diffuser to soften the darker shadows but I'm still oddly satisfied with this image. In processing I was going for soft but still slightly graphic...the muted color is a departure from my norm, usually when I do BW I bring a tiny little bit of barely noticeable tint back in but not this much. Processed in PS, NIK Color Efex, NIK Silver Efex and Nik Viveza  Thanks for looking.

Technical info:
Nikon D7000
Sigma 150mm f2.8 Macro
Aperture_f22
Shutter Speed_2 seconds
ISO_250

Hi Bruce,

I like this as presented. You have texture and ideal shadows.  The muted colors are fine and go well with an end of the season rose in its final days. Well done.......................Jim

There is a large amount of very small white stippling in the large view, which may or may not be artifacts, probably from Silver Efex. Also, there are two artifact rectangles about midway on the right margin. If you can make both those go away, you would bump the IQ up considerably.

I guess I see this as a very nice abstract.  I like the texture and patterns and three-dimensionality.  The hint of pink is a nice touch.  Well done.
