Country Days

Driving down a country road late one afternoon and I looked over and saw this old truck and neat barn.  I whipped around and quickly set up before darkness fell and shot a few quick images.  I hope you enjoy.

Critiques, comments, and suggestions always welcomed and appreciated.  Thanks for looking.

Lots to like here, Bill. The old Chevy pickup completes the scene. Reminds me of Bayou Country.

Nice find, Bill!  Old trucks like that are getting very hard to find in my area.  The building, as you said, is "neat."  In my neck of the woods buildings that look like that tend to collapse in winter with the weight of snow.  Your pano crop works well here to keep the focus on the relics instead of the large trees, which could dominate the scene with a taller composition.  Still, howing the trunks emphasizes their size -- and age -- which goes well with the aged subjects.  Everything here looks uniformly antique and nostalgic.

Real nice rural country scene. It is only missing a hound dog. :)

Looks like a wonderful slice of Americana, Bill. I also like the pano format. My only suggestion; just a personal preference; would be to crop or clone the cutoff swing? on the right edge of the frame. either way this is nicely done.

Bill, Love this shot! The pano format works great and I love the look / feel it has. Something about old buildings and trucks that just works for me. Seem to have an emotional impact and makes one wonder what all has gone on here over the years. I restored a Chevy pickup just like that one for my first shop truck back in the days when I owned an autobody shop.
