Blue Morpho perched on a tent in the butterfly house, Montreal Botanical Garden.

D90, 105 mm, f/9, 1/160, ISO 1000, 80% of frame. Tripod & monopod not allowed. February 2016.

All comments are welcome and appreciated, and thanks for looking.

Edit: I just checked this on another computer, the yellow looks very bright to me.

I like the composition and colors. The yellow is a bit bright, and seems to lack the same amount of detail as the brown areas. However, I still like the overall image.

Yun..thats a cracker. I thought its a painting, or some print. I may not give your the credit for this beautiful image. ;-) ..The blue morpho composed itself.

...For having seen that and taken a picture ....the credit goes to you..Well done.

Yun, I think the brightness of the yellow actually adds to the "cheery" appeal. I like how this is designed, and very sharp for 1/160 sec.

Yun, a colorful butterfly against a very colorful background.  The yellow looks bright, but doesn't seem oversaturated to me.  I like the multiple blocks of color, (blue, yellow and brown).

Yun, this is fantastic! I love the composition and colors here. As you say, that yellow is a little bright, but it still has a bit of textural detail in it, so it doesn't appear blown out to me. I could see bringing it down a bit. Great eye to catch this.
